Did something happen while I was gone?

Soooo, UFO's. Who has seen them? Who believes in them?

I saw one once. Was making out with my g/f at the time in the mountains. It came down pretty close to us..close enough to see that it was saucer shaped and see some paneling. In the sky it looked to us about the size of a quarter. It hovered for a few seconds above us.

I don't know why, but we ran. Kinda stupid to run, thinking about it now..I mean really, there were 2 plausible explanations.

1.)aliens. At which point it would be stupid to run, i'm sure if they wanted us, they could have taken us
2.)government project. They would have left us alone or were hoping for a show.

Anyway, the thing took off at a 45 degree angle into the sky and just kept getting smaller until it was juts a dot of light in the sky. We were both terrified. I stayed up for 2 days straight thinking that maybe I had been tagged or something. I was 17 or 18 at the time. No I was not smoking anything!

I am banking on the government project at this point. Not sure I believe in extraterrestrial life visiting earth(I do think it's out there, just not coming here)

I don't believe in UFO's but I totally believe in ghosts. I grew up in a house that was a stop on the underground railroad and we had ghosts. I would hear people cooking in the kitchen (at like 11 p.m. when nobody else was home), footsteps around the back corner of the house, and would see mists in this one hallway.
    It was great.

Mathematically speaking I think UFO's exist, though I don't know why they would want to come here. If they did beam me up I think it could be cool, I'm pretty sure they would have some killer weed.
You're gonna stand there, owning a fireworks stand, and tell me you don't have no whistling bungholes, no spleen spliters, whisker biscuits, honkey lighters, hoosker doos, hoosker donts, cherry bombs, nipsy daisers, with or without the scooter stick, or one single whistling kitty chaser?

I lived in a house in Provo that seemed to be haunted. But then, it's Provo. Maybe there were some wives hiding in the walls making noises.

Uncle Rico: Kip, I reckon... you know a lot about... cyberspace? You ever come across anything... like time travel?
Kip: Easy, I've already looked into it for myself.
Uncle Rico: Right on... right on.

What do you consider an alarming rate?

I must say I was pretty pumped too. As It got closer my heart was pounding and I pretty much freaked out. It was nuts.

Yeah. I got some funny looks this morning at work while excitedly answering the question; "what did you do last night?"

Has anyone else noticed that no one riding a bike anymore can just use a regular backpack? They all have to have those waterproof messenger bags now.
