It's Monday morning. I'm seriously considering resigning from my career. Problem is that unless I can find something that pays significantly better I have to sell the house too...which is a problem because I have a huge black lab that is like a daughter to me. None of the apartments around here allow dogs her size (only the accessory dogs)

Dude, quit the job if that's what you want to do. Sell the house. You WILL be able to find a way to keep your dog. I don't believe for a second there is nowhere to rent if you have a big dog...especially if it is a well behaved lab.

I think everyone here will pretty much agree that you should not be shackled to a mortgage unless you really, really want to be for some reason.
