    a sticky request

    ...could you make my thread in the "summits" forum a sticky, right at the top? All these retard mountaineers keep stumbling in and without reading ANY of the other threads are all like "YEAH WHAT PEAKS HAVE YOU BAGGED I'M SO SICKNAR!"

    it's like a welcome wagon or "HEY IF YOU'RE GONNA SELL, READ THIS FIRST" thread. Sets the record straight.

    and yes I'm a curmudgeon.

    along these lines, is there someway similar to how you can vote on a thread and give it X stars, is there a way you can vote to have it stickied?

    maybe make it a minimum number of votes or something so not all threads get stickied?

    Right now it just seems all we can do is "bump for a sticky" which doesnt seem to always work.
    for example;

    You can vote on threads right now. The consensus on that one seems to be that "nobody looks at that shit anyway, and anyone who cares about it is a whiny bitch." See this thread for evidence.

    I'm pretty sure we're not ever going to automate stickification, but I stickied both of the threads you pointed out.

    And I'm not going to sticky the Jumper Bones "retarded homo mountaineer" thread. I think it's funny when they stumble in and post about their summits.
