    Mammoth Lodging Question - REDUX

Used the Search function and the best thread was from 2004 when Altagirl was headed out there for a race. The prices were wrong and the info seemed a little dated.

My dumb ass bought a Mammoth pass last summer. However, I've only skied in CO this year. Mammoth's crappy start, my travel & work commitments conspired to thwart my visions of constant skiing in perfect conditions this year.

In a late attempt to redeem some value from my $700 Silver Pass (as well as my weakening image of myself as a spontaneous, fun-loving person in the prime of his life). I have now taken time off of work and made arrangements to get up to there the weekend of March 17-18 w/ the girlfriend, March 24-25 with CascadeCrudSkier and again with the gf April 7-15.

Requirement for plushness & privacy is close to nonexistent when CCS and I go up. Some place with a hot tub and clean sheets would be nice with the gf. If anybody has a condo they'd be willing to rent out (or sub out) this weekend, I'd be interested. Otherwise, what are the best current options for lodging up there? Thanks a lot!
I should want to cook him a simple meal, but I shouldn't want to cut into him, to tear the flesh, to wear the flesh, to be born unto new worlds where his flesh becomes my key.

You should PM moresnowplease or email him: mike at aegixgear dot com
He has a room for rent this month - it will be your most cost effective solution - but you'd have to bring the sheets.

Others here have floor space they offer up, depending on crowds that weekend, for like $40/night per person. Econo Lodge is worth looking into, but it books up fast.

One note - you don't list April 26th-28th as a weekend plan, and that's the mini summit!

The two cheapest places, besides what YC suggests, are Davison St guest house (near Canyon lodge), and Tom's Place about 10 miles down 395. Both have dorms (cheap) and some private rooms. Don't forget to schedule the mini in, got to use that pass.

    Email sent! Thanks!

I've got my kids during the mini. Bummed on the timing. Hoping there will be some mags up there at some point during the periods I'll be there.
