That's Adrianna on his lap. Annie Leibovitz takes another great one.

Yea I'd say there are worse beginnings to ends.
HBO in general is not worth it anymore.

You're kidding, right? "Rome" and "Deadwood" are amazing - I prefer both to "The Sopranos," actually. IMHO that show lost it when they killed off Big Pussy.
I was really into Season 2, then they made wait what seemed like 5 yrs. for season 3. Fuck that show.
I'm with Tipp on this one. After the 2nd season it really started to wander and get goofy. I still watch it, but I think Deadwood and Rome are much gooder.
Bush got C's.... Obama probably failed lunch
Deadwood sucks. It fucking sucks. Fucking goddamn fucking faggots and fucking pussies watch it. Fuck.
I never took to Rome or Deadwood, Entourage was mildly interesting. HBO stopped having the good new movies years ago, and for the last few years, almost all the non-HBO-produced movies they've shown are recycled hits and classics from five or ten years ago. Stuff you can see on commercial channels.
A few months ago, I turned off HBO, and spend the same monthly amount on a different cable channel package, (Encore, Sundance, PCN-TV), haven't missed it at all. In general I've been watching less television ('cept for statewide weather), no regrets there either.

nobody's mentioned 'the wire' yet? i think that's the best that hbo has produced lately (although i enjoyed sopranos and entourage a lot)
the intertwining storylines were really what kept me interested in that show, just so much depth.
You would've been fucking hammered.
And that would not have been good on a Sunday night.
It's 5 o'clock somewhere.

Not saying it's enough of a reason to shell out for HBO, especially when you can just rent the DVDs, but fuck me that show is good.
when do the last few episodes air??
Pretty soon. But they're still filming. Traffic report today told me to avoid Bloomfield, due to that filming.
They were filming by my house one day in September. I drove through and it was like a madhouse.
I thought Rome was ok, but it's done after this season so it's not really worth it too much. I was always a fan of Oz and The Wire and I think that Da Ali G Show, Real Time with Bill Maher, Entourage, and Curb Your Enthusiasm are more than enough to make up for the sometimes questionable movies they play.
Point was that HBO will always have some worthy shows. The "fact" that Rome is in its last season has yet to be set in stone. The problem is the rising production cost, not viewer support.
I for got about Da Ali G Show. That was worth it.
Curb Your Enthusiasm was entertaining at first, but I lost interest after a while. Most memorable episode was where Larry David takes his wife to a dinner party but failed to tell her ahead of time the hosts and all the other guests were in the porno movie business.

Not a fan of Deadwood or Rome. Showtime is getting better with their shows. I will still watch The Sopranos till the end.

Well, if they're still filming, and on a tight schedule, expect, maybe, some snow scenes in one or more of the final episodes. It's hammering right now.
Man, I tell ya, my radar screen has made a lot of noise around my new neighborhood in Rutherford. There's a pastry/expresso place in East Rutherford that, even in coldish weather, has a lot of guys just, um, hanging out, and, um, double parking. I don't make eye contact, and I don't get aggravated when passing. Can't wait 'til the summer, when they pull the card table out on to the sidewalk.
