I feel your pain since I broke a lower leg bone near the ankle
6 weeks ago at Kirkwood in a fast sliding fall. Just a few days
ago the Dr. allowed me to walk lightly on it. Cast may
    come off in 3 weeks.

Crazy day to hear this. I was racing this evening in the beer league at the local hill and saw my buddy hook a gate and go flying off the trail into a tree. Pretty scary looking crash. It turned out to be just a concussion, but they took him off the hill on a stretcher. and after I drove him home his brother took him to the hospital.

    Get well mrs.666

    Update:

In recovery now, surgeon said it went "excellent." Also, lph likes what he saw on the new x-rays, so I guess that's a good thing

Thanks again for all the support.

Good luck with the healing Halle!!! Sounds like surgery went well - step one done and over with! I know how shitty it is to take a tumble and lose a season. Just know that it WILL get better and you'll come back just as strong. You're a rockstar - that much I know from the little time I've spent with you.

    Good luck and heal up!

And C, I'm pretty sure that lots of chocolate and massages will help immensely!

Heal fast. No idea what the injury is but I had a badly broken ankle (plates, pins, etc) a few years ago that has healed 100% and doesn't bother me at all. Hope your recovery goes as well.

Len, so good that you are there to help out....It's amazing what having someone on the "inside" does to to make everyone feel a little more at ease...I know they appreciate it tremendously.

I know that when I hurt myself the other day it made a shitload of difference to my mental outlook to know that I had a friend on the inside helping me out. It was extra cool too since I was skiing with him at the time, crashing on his couch, and starring in his photos. He was literally there every step of the way!

lph for Maggot of the year as far as I'm concerned.
