    Magette down....Mrs. 666....+++ vibes needed.

    Got word a couple hours ago from skier666 that Mrs. 666 took a nasty tumble out of bounds at the bottom of West Shore today. She was Heli-ed out. Looks like a shattered right ankle. She is ok otherwise, but the severity of the ankle break is pretty bad. Surgery to repair the ankle will probably happen tonight or possibly tomorrow. She's in good hands at the hospital in South Lake Tahoe because, unfortunately, they have seen a ton of very similar scenarios involving other skiers. The 6'er is pretty bummed right now.

    oh, damn... that is awful news. i hope the surgery goes well and that she is on the road to a complete recovery soon.

    at least the heli was available for an evac... things could be so much worse without it.

    I saw the heli heading out to West Shore from the backside, and thought about the mags who like to hike over there... Wishing a speedy and full recovery.

    wishing the best for H when she goes into surgery.
    666 said most likely in the AM.

    scary stuff, it sounds like a pretty complicated break from what 666 explained.

    Mrs. 666 is a trooper....when we got down to her she pretty much knew her ankle was broken and was as calm as could be considering the circumstances. She's strong and athletic (just like Mr. 666) and thus will hopefully have a speedy recovery.

    Heartfelt posi++++++++++thoughts being sent to them.

    +++++++++++++++vibes for a successful surgery, H!

    I saw the xrays as soon as i got home and I started to cry in pain. H must be pretty damned tough to endure that kind of break in the sidecountry and keep it together.

    666 I will see you tomorrow, swing by radiology while H is in surgery and I will buy you a cup of Joe.
