I now weigh approximately 85 kilogrammes, want to get down to about 60. I am 177 centimetres tall. This so I can go down in board size. Any tips?

I am hoping to weigh in under 230 on thurs, here is the before and after. The pic on the left is from a year ago, but is the absolute worst picture I have ever seen of myself, so i used it as a motivation tool when I decided to get my life in order in Jan.

I can believe how gross I looked.

Well I just stepped off the scale. 152, up a little from 3 days ago. My birthday was Tuesday and a road-trip to Syracuse for Dinosaur BBQ, a Carvel ice cream cake and Indian takeout all in one day add up.

Thanks for putting this together. It was a great motivator for me. Now I just need to buy more clothes that aren't too big.

I'm right in the middle of lots of training at the gym, lots of biking, started boxing and have had this bodybugg for a little over a month so I'm not done yet. I'll update this thread when I'm where I want to be....shouldn't be too long from now, but I don't want to weigh in yet.

    Congrats to everyone else though!

    Today is the day!

178.8 this morning. I must have eaten a ton of salt before the last time I weighed myself cause I can't see how I went from 184.7 to 178.8 in a week.

    bodyfat %:
    3.12 - 14.6%
    7/12 - 8.6%

    Weight:
    3/12 - 203.2
    7/12 - 178.8

According to the google spreadsheet, I've lost over 12% of myself. I don't miss it.

I would just like to give my congratulations and utmost respect to everyone who has participated in this challenge. By choosing to be more active and pay more attention to diet, the unfat challengers have made significant changes for the better. Steve/mrryde - you guys inspire me.

Ok that was fun I'm at 177. But I have really stopped weighting myself because I take five salt pills in the AM which makes me heavy. And I know I getting more fit because my wedding ring keeps falling off and my pants and shirts no longer fit well.

Congrats! That is almost my exact goal. I weigh in at 200 - 205 after a run, I can never seem to break the 200 barrier. I have yet to really start trying but man this could get me motivated. 180 is where I want to be.

It took me forever to break 200. The winter before last I was at 230. Keep at it and make sure that you are in a burn more than you take in. What really helped me was that spark people web thingamajig. I was a great visual of what I was taking in compared to what I was burning.

I guess I have accomplished something, but I started before this challenge begun.

I've lost 40 lbs since Feb of last year. The slow and healthy way. I still have a bit more to go, but it seems to get easier everyday with all the stuff I'm doing these days (boxing is SO cool, FYI). So, I guess I'm proud of that.

This thread inspires me, you're all so awesome.

I suck. I think I lost 3 pounds total. Just couldn't find the motivation to really hit the exercise.

Congrats to all who really lost weight: Slider, Steve, Mr Ryde, AC etc!!

I am 5'8". Yea, I surprised the shit out of myself. The challenge really lead to me doing some self examination. I used to eat until I hurt. I friggin love food, I just learned to back away from the table.

I also started really working out, doing an hour of trail running a couple of times a week and riding my bike to work a couple of times a week.

I weigh the same know as the senior year of high school when I was captain of the cross country team.

Nice work. Now all you've got to do is maintain that weight. No problem, right? Really it shouldn't be if you stick to the changes you've made. Again, nice job!

I didn't really participate in your online thing, though did chime in a few times...

In the last 4 months or so, i've lost about 3" around the waist due to a lot of biking and other activities. Stupid thing is that my weight hasn't gone down significantly (84 -> 80kg, at 183cm's).

Still though, I feel way better. Look a lot slimmer too. Good times.

    I'm in.

Since after the knee-OP I have gained ~3 kg.... And now weight ~74-76 kg, for my whopping heigth of 174 cm. The good thing is that, I'm beginning to be OK for all sorts of sports... so hopefully I can be back on track and reach my target of 68-70 kg... Before ski season starts.

good job everyone!! this thread was a huge motivator for me, even though i joined in late and unofficially. thank you for the support!

I didn't really participate in the challange.... but I weighed myself this morning and I lost 20lbs since December!!!! I'm super stoked about it. I am 210 now, and would like to be about 195 by November/December. I was 195 in high school.

Mrryde... Nice job!!!! Keep at it 'ol boy!

Put on 2 lbs. since last weigh in. I've been real steady for 2 months now and I'm happy with that because I know I can maintain the loss living with the changes I've made now.

Started at 199 and I'm at 177 now. I still want to lose another 20 or so though so I'm totally up for another challenge. I fell off with tracking my food online with a few big changes in my life lately so I'd like to get that going again and get a bit more exercise in.

Great thread though, great job everyone.
