the newer versions of itunes will convert them, just add the files to your library and it should ask you if you want them converted to .aac
i have a program that does it, but i'm on a pc and know nothing of compatibility. if you send it to me, i'll do it. pm me.

If you use foobar as an audio player, it also has a very nifty integrated converter that will convert to mp3 as long has you have LAME installed
