Some face carnage from the weekend..

I really just like showing this off, but full face helmets are a good idea...

There's just something cool about rolling up with blood running down your face and 5 people sitting in the eddy watching.

    The culprit: http://www.americanwhitewater.org/co.../photoid/3212/
(The smaller, flat rock at the bottom that is almost submerged, it was completely under water at the level Saturday and it forms a nice little hole at the bottom)

And until this happened I have to say that the SCUD is a kick ass little boat.

If I were an EC'er boating Wilson's, I'd probably want a burlier helmet than that too. Glad you're ok.

YEP, but some of us have to learn the hard way I guess. The first thing somebody said to me was "time to get a real helmet isnt it?".

Bear Creek, Montana. About 40 minutes south of Missoula.

My FNA has saved me from a definite broken jaw plus some brow blows, they're a worthy investment if your creeking.

Sweets has one out too that looks pretty nice.
