Regional Forums

Hey guys.... how bout starting a Regional forum so Local Folks can get together and talk about stuff that affects them regionally. Many other sites do this type of thing and it would be a great addition to TGR forums.

Does anyone else thing this is a good idea.

Regional forums don't get enough traffic, especially not at the right times. I prefer everyone mashed together and when storms and stuff roll through specific threads show up...

All the Utah people will start a special club. Something about Mormon pussy, or no outsiders allowed all 5th grade style. They'd say there snow is better, then they claim Mormonism is the light, and pretty soon TGR would be fighting a religious war against the infidels. Maggot would fight maggot. It would probably spill over to the whole intraweb, maybe even the "real world" In the end the only palce it couldn't reach would be Gapic. I think they have regional forums. Go there.

In all seriousness, it's a community that has no regions. If someone has stoke they put it up for all to see. If you want to hook up with guys in Tahoe you put a post it up with where you want to hook up. We have threads for CO snowpack, we don't need a whole forum, it will fragment the community by segregating them into regions instead of dumping them into a place where everyone else is. Many sites do many other things, that doesn't mean shit. The whole of the Gapic forum loves markers, does that mean we should prerelease to our deaths becuase everyone else is doing it?
