I've got mine mounted at +3 and they rip for an everyday ski. Still great in the pow, but if you're going to be using them primarily for a pow ski I'd mount them further back, as they lose some float in the forward position for sure.

+1 for me (169) and they are pretty good all around. A very few times I wish they had less tip, but overall I am very happy with +1.

unless the mount chart is off again, most rock it +3 on the 189. thats where the man himself skis em. the tips are pretty soft so they will flex up in the pow thus being forward mounted won't be as problematic in the soft stuff.

are they the 06/07 ski or next years 07/08? if it's the 07/08 did the dimensions change at all?

im pretty positive seth mounts his at +5.

see this thread where it is discussed more fully.

i have 189s mounted at +4 for everyday all mtn and they rip. still sweet in soft, a little easier to throw around in real tight tree lines and such. if its for everyday, id stay between +3 and +5.

i did not look at that thread but i'm pretty sure...

the first year of the the vicious (now called the seth) the mount chart was pushed back 2cm's so on that chart a +5 was actually a +3, and +3 is where seth mounts his at. on this years "the seth" the mount chart is back in the right place aka +3 is +3.

this is all based on memory of diggin around on the K2 factory team message board. it's talked about in detail over there. things could have changed since i mounted mine up back in september tho?

    good luck - flow

edit cause i can't spell vicious

I dig mine at +3 on this year's 189. Tips don't dive in the pow and can still throw them around in the steeps and trees. However, I don't ski in the park/switch very often.

I have mine at +3 and they're great. But like most people have been saying, anywhere from +1 to +5 for everyday charging seems good

i have last years sv, which i know still had the graph off, and im almost positive they never changed it.

otherwise people going +3 on this years would be +6 on the old graph, which would be ridiculously far forward.

I'll stick w/ my advice of either +3 or +4.
