Chasing Pow

As spring break approaches a buddy of mine and I decided we are going to chase the powder around for a week. He hasn't skied in a while, but is ok with letting me do my own thing while he gets his feet under him/ if there is a powder day. Anyways i'm trying to line out where we should head. I'm thinking a day or two at loveland then heading to utard for several days at alta/bird. That is the plan if there aren't any major systems moving through. If there are we'll just run to those when they happen.

We're thinking of sleeping in the car if we need and getting places to stay if we can. With the plan being so loose its hard to make reservations anywhere. Do you think we'll have any chance of getting a room if we walk up or will it be too busy? I assume it will be, but I thought I would ask.

What do the maggs think of this idea? Am I missing anything major?

Also, If any mags want to meet up and ski that would be great. I'm no ripper but can hang on most terrain.

You should be able to find a room at a hotel almost anywhere...word is both SLC and Denver are pretty big and have lots of hotels.
