    two optical observations:

    Gog's:
Smith's sensor mirror lens is really really good in flat light. Have 3 or so days with them (all flat) and have been really impressed. That's not to say I haven't had to ski by braille when its really nasty though. I'm a beater and rapidly pack the adjustable vents with snow thus negating their effectiveness, defogging remains on par with normal lenses IME.

    sunglasses:
if you can find a set that isn't heinous, Rudy project has a great lens replacement policy, 14.95 for the first and 5 for each additional. For $30 the wife and I replaced 4 sets of lenses, that's a good deal IMB.

Yes, I concur on the flat light performance. Best flat light lens I've tried.

I've never had a problem with fogging on my smith's even after beatering down a run and ending up with a face full of snow. Those goggles rock.

i too dig the sensor mirror, but....when skiing on a really near freezing level day with fog, etc and you get water droplets on the lense, all the drops give back a really weird, blue glow that makes it hard to see sometimes.

    bolle? what is this, 1984?

bloom- I didn't mean that fogging is a problem just that the little regulator deal doesn't seem to be a big improvement over my old non-regulators for fogging.

I've recently discovered that some car polish is beyond excellent at preventing fogging. This is what I used.

My Oakleys - no fogging problems EVER (A Frames). My Smiths - every day. They are basically the "Fuse" series.
