    Lines & Lines TR

Today was busy as hell. The busiest I've ever seen up here. Crazy lines for up north. But it was also orgasmic. We got first tracks down No-name (best run of the year), then snagged another quick run there before heading to another area to catch those ropes dropping. We're finally getting enough snow to pop a few rocks and also to start hitting some lines. Hopefully these next few storms pan out and the real hucking can start towards the end of next week.

Maggots up skiing today were flyk, criscam, truth, MOE, MD9, and el kanone (we're on 5-13 on radios, if you're out tomorrow).

One line in Demoisy got tagged earlier in the week. So today wasn't technically the first day Demoisy has been hit this year. Today I got it again and then we opened up another straight line run for the first time this season, also in Demoisy. Tomorrow will be good again. So nice to have the season starting to build and get some consecutive storms.

Anywho here are some pics for the day. The shooter is truth.

    First tracks of the season:

    Go-rilla:

Racing the sluff. It's tiny multi-stager to get to this point and you can't slow down.

Pissed about the boss-hog landing being tracked out by 10-year olds getting 1 foot of air (been that way all season, there are plenty of cat tracks on the mountain, why this one) so I air off the track too in frustration.

Some of the lines we were facing up there today:

Criscam called single got through the line with ease.

    Pop-rocks

Was at Snowbasin this afternoon for my nephews birthday party. I don't know that I have ever seen all the lots full and people parked on the side of the road that far down before. It looked fun up on the mountain.
Now watch me become what I can become.

I'll be back in utah march 10th-25th, probably going to hit snowbasin at least once, probably day of or after the storm if we get any decent snow when I'm back. Good to see coverage is looking good.

Sweet it was fun skiing with you yesterday. I ended up getting your sloppy 2nds today because I waited until 8 to try and bend my P 14 breaks and holy shit that was hard it was like they were made of cryptonyte. It was worth it though because Rossi Axioms Rule!!!!! Holy shit today was the most crowded I have ever seen it there, but it was still good. I'll be up tomorrow too.Nice lines.

Flyk, you need to answer your phone!!! Was hoping to hit you guys up for the am. (Wife is line dancing tonight and I have the kiddo, don't ask)

I sense a pent up Monkey that needs to jump off shit. Hope you/we get that storm soon man. I just need a pow day now that I am done PT for the ankle and can now get after it. New board from Xmas has no speed limit.

Criscam, once the snow settles down a ton, I am ready to tour. Been skiing more than boarding anyway with the ski boot working as a cast.

Easy there big fella. Today was my first attempt at shooting super action heros on snow. I was pleased I was able to get anything resembling a meat drinker in the frame. GT was busy learning to str8line down in cotton candy land so I got the call to step up into the starting line-up. We opted to ski pow sans camera all morning and do the mountian the favor of tracking out all the avy prone goodness in an effort to save lives. By the time we brought out the cam the bluebee day had been swapped out for rolling fog and snow spits which made for some pretty murky shooting, esepcially the longer range stuff. I'd love to get another crack at it tomorrow but it would seem the sun won't be making an appearance in order to allow another inch or two of the white love to fall. Not to worry as rumor has a guy name frozenwater will be making a rare on snow ballroom dance at a fine Sun Valley resort.

Not sure how I missed this, but things are looking good!

The busyness thing not so much... hopefully in a couple weeks the masses will have had their fix.
