hmmm. a foot at kirkwood? it seemed pretty mild near luther pass earlier this evening.
guess i'll call in the morning just to see.
Funny report from squaw this morning - 0-1" 'firm in places' , actually not so funny.
the 'wood reports 2-4 inches new. i would call that less than a foot.
yeah, i saw that after i posted. I checked with "Kirkwood's customized weather forecast" and they were saying 3-6". NOAA 1".
Which leads me to believe that kirkwood is FOS and desperate to get people to come to the mountain even if it means inflating snowfall predictions. Lame.![]()
"WELCOME TO SPRING......NOW GET READY FOR WINTER.....CURRENT SYSTEM MOVING OUT SLOWLY WEDNESDAY WITH A FEW SNOWSHOWERS POSSIBLE...THREE INCHES SO FAR AT THE MAIN LODGE....NEXT STORM AFTER WEEKEND TO MOVE IN MONDAY AFTERNOON AND CONTINUE WELL INTO TUESDAY NIGHT.....THIS SYSTEM SHOULD RESTORE CONFIDENCE THAT WE STILL LIVE IN HEAVY SNOW COUNTRY.....THEN SOMETHING EXTRA SPECIAL AS WE GO THROUGH NEXT WEEK.....STAY TUNED....HANG ON....AS THE WINTER OF 2007 MAY JUST BE BEGINNING......>>>>>>"
OHC, I'm beginning to think that whole you-moving-to-Hawaii thing might not be a bad idea after all.

If by ghey, you mean OHC running around the islands in a speedo, I'm all for it. What ever brings snow works for me, especially since I won't be there to see OHC speedo'ing it up.
next week definately looks like sumptin schweet. the start of another strorm cycle is what i'm hoping/praying for!! what an awesome way to bring in spring.
this thread is on page 24? damn. next week we better see a 'tahoe firing part II' thread start up.
I'll continue the thread.....
To that big mess out in the Pacific..."come to Butthead"
