Checked k'woods webpage and the backside and 10 are listed as "later", probably setting off charges right now.

If it were me I would let those areas settle today and open them tomorrow. Please God make them listen.

"Kid day, no kid day" I know the feelin', we've got it refined down to kid am or kid pm.

Oh my! Why did I get "sick" last friday, and not today? A perfect time to buy some comis - hope my skinny 103s have enough float for my 220# ass this weekend.

spoke and rec'd text messages from arty at the wood. 6 opened up by 9:30. Chest deep in the shot right of oops.

Last message referred to lapping 10, chokingly deep. That was a half hour ago.

Maybe the backside won't open today??? but I bet it does. at the top of the heave there were NO winds.

Arty is a very cruel person.

I bet it will open....trollers are prolly working on the cirque and the saddle as we speak since pali and WW bowl are already open.

Hmmm, I guess that's why he isn't answering my pm.

I was hoping it would keep snowing and blowing today, but oh well, sloppy seconds of a 4 foot storm is still pretty good for my first day on snow this season. Hope to see some of you kooks around tomorrow.

You can definitely tell the backside is open when you can barely see anyone in line in chair 6 via the webcam.

I jumped off one of those spine looking rocks on art's knob and went neck deep and never touched anything. There was some definite wind transport and some scour on the exposure but the straight east stuff was deep anywhere it was protected.

It was also VERY crowded. Everything out to the buttress was almost done when I left at 1245. Still good but it seemed like everyone there knew where to go.

    Wow, nice!! Sounds amazing.

I am forced to pick a day this weekend.....given the slaying today, i think I am going to take the Sunday storm day. Hard not to go tomorrow though....
