need ideas for bachelor party

so a buddy of mine in denver is getting married in july, and a bunch of us are planning on throwing him a going away party. im not local, so i dont know what kind of options are out there, so i need some help.

naturally, strippers came to mind, but i dont know whats "allowed" and whats not. and i have no idea where the good places for that kind of entertainment are around denver. what are some other fun things to do for ~10 dudes out there? pretty much all of us are coming from the northeast, so a weekend bender in vegas is out of the question, unfortunately.

I have always thought house boat on lake powel would be a good way to go for a bachelor party. of course its closer to vegas than denver.

MISTAKE!!! Your buddy will tell you he doesn't want strippers. HE IS LYING. Trust me. The reason that he will lie is that if word gets out to his fiance that he wanted strippers, HE IS IN BIG TROUBLE.

To find strippers type in 'strippers', 'bachelor party' and 'Denver' or some combo into google. You will be presented with some options. Try to find some with pictures. Pick the most attractive ones. Usually they go through an agency.

Get at least two strippers. You will set up a place and time, they will ask for a fee outright (make sure you agree to a fee beforehand, usually a few hundred bucks, and get everyone to chip in), and then they will take care of the rest. They have done it many times before; they should know what they are doing.

Pick a private place. If it is at a bar or restaurant make sure there is a private room. A large hotel suite works great (best a casino hotel). MAKE SURE EVERYONE BRINGS PLENTY OF CASH, especially $1 bills to throw at them. (do your buddies a favor and buy them lap dances, $20-40 a pop) Tip well.

There is a misconception that strippers at a bachelor party are prostitutes. They are not. Sometimes they work as escorts on the side, but they are professionals, and you should not expect any sex from them. (If you do, they will surely rip you off.) Expect it to be similar to what you might find at your average strip club, but just a tad more raunchy.

Or you could just go to a strip club as another option.

A couple questions to help:

Is this the night before the wedding? Hopefully most people are NOT doing that anymore as a hangover is a very bad way to spend hours in front of a crowd, pictures, meet and greet, etc.

What are his favorite activities?
Find something that the groom likes to do and build it around that. For my b-party my buds rented a 15 passenger van and we spent the weekend skiing, moonlight skiing, and partying at Loveland Pass. If he's a climber or mtn biker camping out and partying would be a good way to do the b-party. Hookers and Blow can be incorporated by making the location within a 30 minute drive of a strip club. Although personally I did not want any skanky ho's hangin on my jock.

it looks like they want to do it a couple of days before the wedding. i said what you said about being hungover at the wedding, so were shooting for a day buffer zone.

skiing would have been my top choice, but the wedding is in july. aside from hookers/strippers (father of the bride and groom might join so no blow) we are throwing around the idea of golf or whitewater or shooting something.

are there shooting ranges within a 2 hour drive of denver? something like one of those obstacle courses they do police training on? im not sure if actually hunting animals is such a good idea when were all ripped.

get as far from Denver as you can.

This is not a place for bachelor parties.

Blackhawk is not gambling.

edit: didn't realize you were trying to pull this off right before the wedding. eeesh. this is tough. I guess I'd suggest dinner at Capitol grill then hit the Diamond Cabaret. during the day your options are fairly limited, but rafting can be had in clear creek or on the Arkansas with relative ease.

WRONG. Been there, done that. Tahoe does not have strip clubs within 40 miles. They only have gambling, drinking, skiing and the same 10 girls that the whole city has taken their turn with. For strippers have to go to Reno, and they're not much better than the Ta-Hoes. If it's snowing, you're screwed (as far as hookers and blow).
