I'll agree with the "delete it" crowd. On some level I regret having dignified it with a response, but feel that questions (not about the past donation, but about future ones) should be addressed before a similar situation arises again.

Along for the ride. Barely in the position to donate to myself. However sometimes I think our generosity can go too far, too easily. I really don't think thats the situation here, but were talking alot of money here. I bet this alias someone respected here, and since the community donated, its the community's right to hear it.

Also, I think deleting this thread behind shoe's back is not cool. He should atleast see it, answering it is totally up to him. It was posted, it should stay.
