Everyone has their own dirty laundry, and its unfortunate that DW's had to come out to her friends and family the way it did. Shmoe never asked for the money, and I don't think he owes us anything more than an occasional (better yet frequent) update on how he's doing.

The only word that comes to mind is TRASH. Anyone who thinks that even a million dollars earns a bunch of strangers the right to know answers to such questions is piece of human TRASH.

However, with this newfound financial power comes a new set of concerns. It is of the utmost importance that the hard-earned money of all maggots be put to use toward efforts that are both noble and honest. If due diligence is not performed the good intentions of all those involved can and no doubt will at some point be abused. I understand why there might be questions. There have been some nasty rumors going around backcountry.com where she worked. I don't know all of the rumors, but I can tell you that each one that I have heard so far is not true. I suspect that 'concerned maggots' is someone that either works for backcountry.com or is friends with someone who works there(based on the questions he asked)

I don't take offense at someone asking these questions. It hurts to say everything that went on and that I have found out, and that is why I haven't posted it all.

Some of the maggots here know the full story. They have kept their mouths shut to keep from hurting my wife's reputation in any way. I am not going to post everything that has happened, and the details of why she may have done it on the public forums. I want people to remember her for the good things.

If you really want to know the details, you can send me a PM. I have been completely honest with everyone on here, and will be honest with anyone that wants to know everything. Altachic, Yogachick, I know you both have thought something was not quite right, please send me a PM...especially you Altachic..maybe you can stop some of the rumors at bc.com I know the names of everyone involved, and wont disclose them in public.

I thinks it's only fair that CM reveals who he/she is to you. If CM breaks the trust you have shown him/her then you can out CM if you wish.

Wow, I am disappointed in the person who started this thread and really all who decided that they wanted/needed to know the info. I gave just a tiny bit of $ after reading both of the posts that were cited as the genisis for this, lamest of threads. And you know what? Yes, it made me curious but it wasn't like it took that much effort to master my gossipy urges. I certainly never contemplated PM'ing Shmoe or *gasp* starting a thread about it, sheesh. It's not like it'd be that hard to be able to call one of the mags that you know has full details, especially for the utards.
