TR: A First Outing (BP 02-18-07)

Welcome to the backcountry, bitty (bit-it-is)!

11am on a holiday weekend in CO. Lift lines? What lift lines?

Strapping on the new ride. Burton Fish 150 (cheers to Robokill for the reco) with Ride VXNs (thanks to the tech talk gang).

Up We Go. All that yoga breathing is coming in handy now, eh?

    Tada(sana)!!!

    Nice pants.

    The payoff.

    Pondering some insanity?

Yeah, they were totally checking you out.

Your mother would be so proud. She's probably gonna kill me for this.

    Ride it to the road.

Nice looking day. Don't ski under any power lines with your poles reaching the sky like that. You could also fly a jolly roger on it which would be pretty dope.

    Thanks for the TR.

yeah, the poles are mine. Shortened them as far as possible, and they still look like antennas. Although, I have to laugh, we actually did think about maybe flying a flag. Best thing I could come up with at the time was to use her...undergarments, but she shot that idea down pretty quickly.

    Nice one!

Berthoud must have been very good.... even in case it would have had only half of what we enjoyed over at Butler Gulch the day before.

Fantastic, on both counts. Huge improvement from the crappy setup she had been riding.

    Awesome man.
Good setup = more outdoors time.
