Nice time to be in Rossland

Got here a couple days ago and it looks like my timing was good. The snow is falling and the forecast should keep me happy for a while! For those of you possibly swinging through, it will be good!!! Set up the new BBQ on the deck yesterday. Anyone on here actually living in Rossland right now? I've been absent for a while, so not sure if there are any locals still hanging around the board.

Long time no post, M. Nails. Looks like you're gonna get some well earned deep pow turns. Rip up the Orchards and the slides, huh?

Beaver! I'll be here for the next week and a half. You got some hottie cousins or something running around?

5 seasons and I still manage to get lost from time to time - that's why I love it!

PS - Look out the window.

The castor is your man, though I've half a mind to hitch up my colostomy bag and drag your ass down cambodia.

welcome back Rusty. so I hear the Rodent is headed your way next weekend. Boy do I wish I had a hall pass and another SEATAC flight.

How about some photos from Red?

I wil l see what I can do about the pics, but I am a notoriously horrible photog. I'll see what I can put together tomorrow and the next couple days.

And yes, it's good to be hanging around the Western mountains of NA again. Rossland's not going anywhere, so we'll get you up here sometime before too long! Hope all is well down in your neck of the woods.

rusty snoboy, beav- I'll be deep in the selkirks again next week. Looks like conditions are spooky in the bc but if I can scam a bit of time i could always be talked into driving back to vancouver by detouring through the southern koots

Lee - when are you heading back to the wets coast?

Rusty - I'll be up at Red coaching little rug rats on Saturday and probably back up on Sunday for some skiing. I've got a pile on my desk that if I can get through 1/2 of it I'll be able to take tommorow morning off and ski. Check your PM for digits.

Leelau -- I will only be around until 1 March. Based on your current timeline, it looks like I'll miss ya by a few days.

Atrain and Sammich -- glad you guys enjoyed the comp. There is now a kick ass gas grill on the deck and I am making some other tweaks as well. Hope you guys are doing well!

Beaver/Snoboy -- with various Seattle mags coming in this weekend, we will have to link up. Snoboy -- if you are going to be on the moutain, lemme know and we can snag some runs together.

Girlski -- drag your ass up here! Plenty of room for you to be the meat in a Squirrel/Z-bo sandwich. It would be great to see you!

Tipp/Woodsy -- Thanks guys. And yes, the chica is in the past. An unfortunate side effect of moving a long way away.

As for today, it was a wonderful day on the mountain. I am smoked. My legs were worked out there today, but I started to finally get some confidence back after not living in the mountains for the last couple years. Gotta have some game for next week with Z-bo in town. I took some pictures, but all I can think of right now is the hot tub and my bed! Hope everyone got some solid turns in today!
