Scarpa denali AT boot fit for expedition?
I will going to AK for a post-graduation ski mountaineering trip this summer, and found a pair of Scarpa Denali TT for a smoking deal on craigslist. I live in Kansas (I can see you all turning green right now) so, I had to break the cardinal f'n rule and buy them w/out trying them on. Long story short they fit like great downhill boots, snug-as-a-bug-in-a-rug in length and toebox width, but was wondering about the uphill climbing part. I work at a ski shop in town and had our boot tech stretch the liner, but it still fits like an alpine boot. Should I allow more space since I will be doing a lot of climbing vertical or do folks generally like the tighter fit. I know it "depends", I'm just looking for feedback
Thanks folks
Anthony
