    Couloir rules!

Received a couple issues, they're great. I wish I had had the interest a year ago when you could get 2 years for $20. Oh well. I also love the fact that the whole mag is on the Web as PDF for subscribers...

Oh, and Tyrone, I ended up sharing the wealth and getting Backcountry magazine too. Couldn't help it...

WTF?! I thought this was gonna be about do's and don'ts of coulior skiing. Like don't sluff out your partners.
As for the magazine, its pretty good. 'Cept for the fact that they wouldn't tell me and my bro where Zebra coulior is, when we asked. As seen on the cover of they're mag sometime ago, '00. See p. 40 new issue, back issue next to hat. The striped rock coolie. Its a secret they sez. Sure, it is. Happened to find it in 2nd edition, "B/C skiing the hi sierras" By John Moynier. I had the 1st edition that didnt show that line. Fully lame that Coulior told us it was a secret stash.
What's up w/ everybody exposing Tioga pass. I thought that WAS a secret. Nobody from LA wants to drive THAT far. So why tell'em?

yeah, I've been trying the mag out this season and I really like it. I'm even leaning towards that lifetime subscription - 300 bucks, and no renewals for the rest of your life! That's awesome.

I just wish they were a little less Colorado and California biased mag. There's plenty of BC out there in other spots too

So what did you guys think of the maps in the Winter and December issues? I know the guy who made them and he'd love to hear what people have to say...

Nice maps. As a subscriber said, coordinates would be nice. He added lat/long and I'm surprised nobody said UTM is what everybody uses nowadays (which hurts the hardcore lat/long guy I am). Maybe next year's letters?

looks like i'll be subscribing to couliour mag. PDF versions are a great idea, especially for foreign subscribers. the cost os US mag subscriptions is pretty outrageous sometimes. does anyone know of more magazines (espcially ski-related) that are available in PDF?

Off-Piste magazine - but it is free in the first place anyway.
