    Snow in the San Juans

    FLASH:

Friday Harbor gets pounded by 3 feet of snow. Both Mt Dallas and Cady Mtn now have a 5 foot base with temps in the low 20s. Best powder skiing there in local memory.

Uh, wait a sec, that was my dream while I lived there, it never happened though, damn.
In drove this drunken madman and stopped on a dime! Unfortunately the dime was in Mr. Rococo's pocket!

    that's what I was thinking

I was out there last weekend and saw pics of my house on the westside of San Juan (elev. 2 feet above sea level) with about three inches in the yard... that apparently lasted a few hours. Damn... I probably could have skied the South Beach bluffs with snow instead of straight-up sand if I had been there for that!

    Cool

It's been puking down here. Sounds like more to come on Tuesday, on Saturday I actually muttered the words "i wish my CMH's were bigger"
Looks like we are in the works to get over a hundo down here and quickly.
Silverton was closed for a day or two and a friend was headed up today, I'm sure it was ridiculously good. I'll try to post some pics tommorow.

Skiing, where my mind is even if my body isn't.
