Does anyone have any experience with refurbished iMacs from Apple online? Positive or negative?

Not an IMac but Mac Book Pro - works fine.
+ is less expensive
- is cant configure your own.
I've bought many refurbished Macs over the years. Typing on one now. Never had any problems. As a matter of fact, I've always thought it likely that a refurb is more reliable than one fresh out of the Chinese factory due to the going-over they get prior to being put up for sale.
Not quite the same, but I have a refurbished ipod that's lasted longer than the new one I had before it.
Check out Smalldog.com. I have bought many refurbs from them and they have always stuck by them. Not that I had any problems with them, but they have a great customer service team.
They are Apple certified repair center, come with a full warranty and they will probably be a little cheaper then Apples site too.
Thanks for the info-I am using my new mac mini right now and it's better than I expected.
You can also check out powermax.com for refurb macs.
Refurb macs come with the same Apple 1 year warranty, the same as the new macs.
