    WWMD?? Totally skiing related.

Sooo I was supposed to leave for Canada yesterday to meet up with Tri-U and some of his friends to do some skiing. I loaded up the car yesterday morning and headed out but the roads were pretty bad due to a foot of fresh snow + the winds were blowing it everywhere. So I turned back after half an hour. I was going to make a go of it today, but I've had a cold, sore throat, etc. since late last week that's been getting worse rather then better. I've got a doctor's appointment at 2 today to see if i've got anything really nasty (there's been some pnuemonia going around...).
So I'm trying to debate if I should bag the whole thing and reschedule (I can take sick days at work vs. vacation) or say the hell with it and go for it. I'm kind of leaning towards a reschedule as Tri-U has people to ski with, vs. the risk of being a boat anchor on the trip if I don't get any better. This is kind of pissing me off as I've been looking foward to Roger's Pass all year dammit.

always go. The endorphins released while skiing will heal you right up. If you can take it easy the first night & actually get some sleep - you'll be good to go!

I've never looked back on a crazy trip that involved skiing and said, "man I wish I didn't just do that". You've got the rest of your life to rest!

Call in to work and use the sick days. Then go.
