    touring backpack recomendations.

    yes i am a newb.....and i will get flamed....

    but i wanted to get some pack recomendations for touring. a combo of day/2 nights.....if possible....

    Get something big enough for all the necessities, but get it as small as possible so you don't lug anything extra with cha.

    Depending on place and accescories plus how big you are and how high end your gear is (ie. hut or tent or snow cave etc.), the back can vary between 15 liters to about 60.

    So try to figure out, what you need and see how much space they take. Then look for a rucksack that is about that size, and has all the gadgets you need.

    For what it's worth, I have done tours with a very basic 32 liter sack, and at times a 55 liter one.
