    Quiver Advice Needed

Have realized I need to reduce, as I'll probably be moving around a decent amount in the next few years. I need money and to reduce the stuff I have. Some are in CA and some in CO which is part of the reason I have some overlap, as I keep a few pairs in CO most of the time. I no longer can get in the 100 day seasons so I just can't justify skiing a ski a few times a year. Currently ski Summit County 40 days a year and Mammoth/Tahoe area when I can as I'm at school in Santa Barbara for another 3 months till graduation, and probably will stay here for at least 6 months after. Thought I was going straight back to CO or moving to UT, but it appears an opportunity in the whole getting my carrer started thing is opening up, which I might regret not taking advantage of. Here's the current list.

188 Bro Blem Stiffs w/916's- could probably ski as a one ski quiver, only place I don't want to ski these are in the park, and they arn't that great in the bumps/ice, but a great all arounder with few comprimises.
193 IM103's My favorite ski. I've had 3 pairs of these, one I managed to kill, and the other I had to sell, but bought a replacement as soon as $ allowed.
183 Scratch BC w/Freeride- My touring setup, but currently they are my dad's Pow ski for resort use as he is in the process of figuring out what he wants.
188 Dynastar Legend 8800 w/px12. These are frankly uneeded. I got a deal on these so I'm guessing I should unload them, as between V-pro's and Bro's I don't really need a ski sloted in between them.
180 V-pro w/912's. They've been drilled thrice, skiied a ton of days and are still awesome everyday all arounders, I'm keeping them.
178 RC4's- When I just want to go fast. They only got the call three days this season so I'm wondering if I really need them, but they are fun...
193 Nordica Blowers. This is my real question. Got these for Christmas and haven't mounted them, as this was when I just started skiing the Bro's. They were my dream ski at the time, I thought they would replace my IM103's, but I'm not so sure I can afford to keep them, as between 103's and the Bro's the only thing they have is a little more underfoot.

    So what do I do?

Here's what I think I should unload, but don't really know.

IM103- I love it, but in Summit it definalty can't be skiied everywhere, plus the Bro can fill it's hole in most situations. I have to travel now to get to ski areas, and since it's more of a specialty ski I feel like if I can only bring 1 ski this ain't it.
Blowers- I have a moral dillema selling a ski I haven't skiied, but is it really worth keeping? I think I would love it, would it make the cut when only 2 skis go in the bag.
8800's- They ski great everywhere, but so do the Bro's.

On the fence about the Scratch BC's. Figure I'm going to end up eventually in a ski town, but even when I go back home I don't have many touring partners anymore so don't know if I need a BC ski at this point in time.

So any words of wisdom from the collective? What don't I need? Just unloaded my Exploders which was a hard thing to do (I prefered the 103's more).

Like I'm one to talk about to many skis, but here goes...

You already are thinking of moving the 8800's, which was my first thought. The blowers and 103's present the biggest challenge. I'm thinking that the inevitable may happen once the career gets in high gear and that is flexbility in when and where you get to ski diminishes. With that in mind, keep the ones you love (103's) and sell the ones you can get more $ for (blowers).

Good thing about starting a career is that you can start to afford gear more readily and you can get something pow-specific (thinking reverse cambered/rockered) in place of the blowers.

if you bought a replacement to the 103's as soon as possible, then don't get rid of this pair. You're obvsiously going to want it back.
I see the blowers leaving, and keeping either the 8800 or Bro's as an "all mountain" sort of ski. Which do you like better? Dump the one you don't.
Have your dad buy the Scratches and sell the freerides. (The free rides should get more $$ than BC's)

damn near exactly what i was thinking

or you could just sell all your skis and get the 194LP/XXL combo

If you love the 103, its unpossible for you not to like the LP.
Its not as stable maching, but its a lot more versatile.
Just as smooth if not smoother.

103 maching untill you decide on a real pow specific ski (as mentioned above)
    BRO's for everyday
V-pros for mogals, rocks and park
    RC4's: ice n' groomers

Sell the Blowers, offer the BC's to dad for a fee (sans bindings) or sell complete and sell the 8800's (too much overlap, the Vpros are fine and you'll get more for the 8800's and the Bros will get more use.)

You could also look into trading the Blowers for something rockered and or fat.
    I ski therefore I am.

    v-pro: jibbing
    bros: all arounders
    103: fast and hard
    rc4's: carving
blowers with freerides: backcountry and pow

    sell the rest.

the bros and blowers get the call for 2 ski trips. bros for 1 ski trip.

Thanks for the input. Marshall To be honest that's the ideal quiver, I'm just not too sure I want to lug a blower/freeride setup in the BC, probably would just come to realize that I might be skiing inbounds for a year or two till I'm back in a town that isn't 6 hours from decent skiing. I'm thinking I'll start with the 8800's, figure the Blowers or the BC's can wait till the next round of bills need to be paid, but I'm thinking I'll just let those BC's stay on permanent loan to my Dad, he's a little to indecisive as he's been searching for new skis for 3 months (basically he wants a Mantra but not the price tag...). As far as the Blowers they are so tempting to keep, but I don't know. I figure I could get an EHP or even go back to Spats for the price, and might be starting a Rockered/woodtopsheet Pow+ if I score a cheap ski. Now, Anybody interested in last years 8800. Drilled once for PX12 Demo (there going on the Pow + so hopefully jsut selling ski only). What's a fair price for these sticks?
