Rossignol Scratch Pro vs Scratch FS

I am new to new school skiing, this is my first year. I got some basic stuff under my belt. However I dont own a pair of twin tips yet, I rent them every time i go (Salomon Foils size 158).

Well I have found some good deals on the Rossignol Scratch Pro/FS ski 2006 model. The problem is that the Scratch FS does not have the size i want...I think 167 is the smallest one. I want 158 or so. The Scratch Pro however does have them, in that size. However Scratch Pro is considered a junior ski...

Now is is called junior ski cuz of the size? or because it has a totally differnt structure?
Would it be bad if i got those? Or would it be normal? since i like that size of the ski.

    I am 5 7 and about 135-140 lbs.
    thanks for your help.

You can AIM me at KrystianR9 if you would like to help...thanks

as i stated, i went with the 163s...Head Mojo 80 with a ld12 binding. That ski looks to be amazing, im just got the binding on them couple hours ago so i cant wait to try them out tomorrow.

The Scratch Sprayer FS is an "unfortified" wood core ski ( IE wod core, two layer fiberglass with 90 degree layup with ABS sidewall/extruded base), in the 168 it would flex well for your wieght. DO NOT BUY A SCRATCH PRO AT YOUR WEIGHT.

grow a pair and step up to a bigger size, i am 5'10' and ski a 185. Go with the FS, i have them and they are perfect for all mountain and park
