so Bode predictably nails down a solid downhill run. lucky for him he's only got to stay on his feet for 1 slalom run instead of the normal 2. well, i've backed him on betfair, but had to hedge my bets with a bit of aksel lund svindal.

Bode should seal it. The closest strong slalom skier is Benjamin Raich and I doubt that he'll be able to make up 1.60 in a single run.

Don't rule out Marc Berthod at 1.3 seconds back. Even Daniel Albrecht at just over a second back has a good chance.

bode's tried 50 some odd pair of slalom skis this year and still isn't happy. i guess that's what you get for switching sponsors without testing equipment first.

db- good call, he's pretty well bid on betfair considering the talent in front of him and the time to make up. last traded at 10-1, market is not 7.4 at 10 and i don't see the 'layers' running in.
