liner / shell size question (krypton)

so, the other day i bought the krypton pros with the standard liner in MP29,0 online. turned out i really liked the flex, but the shoes were just too big.
alas, i bought a shell size smaller (MP28,5). shell size seems ok too me, but the liner is just too short/small. already when out of the boot they are just toooo small. so, as i had the bigger liner also, tried that in the smaller shell and this feels ok (at home).

does this makes sense????????? or will i get problems with too much material in the shell? or can i just get the smaller liner stretched to a bigger one (seems not possible, but what do i know?)

any help appreciated, the flex is just too nice. also, seems not too easy to find athermoflex/intuition liner in euroland.

There probably won't be too much material in the shell.
If you want to stay with the smaller liner, you might be able to clip a little off the inside seam to open up some more length. Depends how close it is though

heh that´s what i wanted to hear.
however, the liners dont look like the greatest quality..
also, as i was playing around they are a lot thinner than my old standard tecnica icon liners....
but the fit is just right with the bigger ones....

Liners CAN be stretched. Bootfitters have tools for this, you could use a heat gun/ hair dryer and one of those dress shoe wooden false foot thingys, to apply pressure to the toe area and heel area. They will stretch out, at least a 1/2 size.

bag the stock liner completely. get an intuition not foam. make sure you get the intuition at least one size too small so that it will stretch to conform to the shell. my shop has done this for at least 15 people this season.

thanks for the replys. dont know where i can find a good bootfitter in germany. maybe i just have to wait for the next trip to stanton.

well, the shell is brandnew - from this year 06/07 (the green krypton pro , as seen on www.dalbello.it ).
I skied it one day only, so it´s barely used.
you´re in europe, right? if anybody wants to have it, i think 100 euros for the shell only would be fair. don´t know what shipping would be like.

    Yo Salx,

I am Nexus' mate... I am very interested in the Krypton Pro's you have. 100 Euros sounds fine to me. I currently in Munich, but I'll be in London and Holland for the next week or so, then back to stanton. Let me know how you wanna handle this.

    Cheers.
