    Just in case I can't make it - Str8line Camp 2/9-11

I'm registered for all Maggot Str8line Camp this weekend.

Unfortunately, Sunday evening I started throwing up and - other than a late afternoon trip to the doctor's office - haven't been out of the house. Even though I have all of the symptoms, my rapid flu test came back negative.

I am concerned about my ability to attend the Str8line Camp this weekend; so, I'm looking for somebody that might be able to take my place on really short notice. I intend to do everything in my power to be skiing with some of my favorite Maggots and Maggettes this weekend; but, just in case I'm still sick, could you take my place?

I leave you with this little pearl of wisdom: there is no such thing as a fart when you have diarrhea.
A human being should be able to change a diaper, plan an invasion, butcher a hog, conn a ship, design a building, write a sonnet, balance accounts, build a wall, set a bone, comfort the dying, take orders, give orders, cooperate, act alone, solve equations, analyze a new problem, pitch manure, program a computer, cook a tasty meal, fight efficiently, die gallantly. Specialization is for insects.

dang IG, sorry to hear that....

you've got to have the norovirus though which isn't quite the same as the flu, as i understand it. it's been so rampant and it hits hard, fast.

Bear & I had it after thanksgiving... it sucks balls.

took him IV fluids to recover, and we both felt better after a few days rest, though my GI system hasn't been 100% since...

so, i'm hoping you feel better by the time camp rolls around, or some lucky utard gets the slot... as much as i could use it, I can't do it, since i'm off to london on saturday.

Yeah dude....find some of those adult diapers that the crazy astronaut in Florida used to "save herself some time" and get your sick ass to Utah!

    Hope you feel better!

Sounds like you got what hit me with less than 12 hrs to go for the January camp. I think mine was norovirus/ norwalk virus too: incredibly fast onset, feel like hell for the first 24 hrs. Rapid improvement by 36-48 hrs into it. Nearly back to normal (but weak) by 72-96 hrs.

So don't give up hope for this weekend just yet; rest/sleep and Gatorade are your friends right now.

Gadget, sorry to hear that you are under the weather.

If there is snow, I may break down and take my wife and kids to LCC this weekend ***antijinx***.

Give me a call, if you are coming over to my neck of the woods.
