Lake Louise Comp 2007

Samwich and myself are coming down for this year's Lake Louise Big Mountain Challenge with the aspirations to get those wonderful 192 Big Bro's and PMGear's name on the podium.
I finished fifth there last year and want to win it this year.
We are broke college students/skiers at UBC.
We are looking for a place to stay anywhere within the area. Banff/Golden, etc.
We are competeing. We will be in bed (i.e. on the comfy floor in our sleeping bags) early every night. We will clean, buy you beer (although we won't drink much of it), cook, etc.

Our very own Rusty Nails hooked us up with a fabulous condo for the Red comp to whom we are deeply indebted and grateful for. Rusty rocks!

Also if anyone else feels like coming along from the Vancouver/PNW area to split gas money that would be fantastic. Of course that might change the ability to crash on someone's floor, but that can all be worked out.

The dates of the comp are Wed Feb 21- Sun Feb 25th.
We'd arrive Tuesday night, and most likely leave Sunday morning because I have never ever seen a comp use a weather day. They are against the notion it seems.

Thanks for the help and hopefully we can meet and see some mags up there regardless. Its always a good time and I've met some super cool people there in the last couple of years.

Sleeping space somewhere would be much appreciated. I'd bring a tent, but I only have a -20* bag, and it is lake louise. I'll buy beers. And bacon will definitely make an appearance, likely in large quantities and dripping with hot grease.

I have never done a comp before and my buddies that do are pressuring me to do this one and the Fernie one, so i might do it. I have some kids i coach competing in the jr one on the weekend.

Someone put these guys up, I met them in Whistler once. They let me touch them. Then ditched me because I didn't have a beacon.

But it was all worth it.
