Any HR/recruting mags? Could use some resume tips/help.

Anybody in the tech sector recruiting (I guess, it doesn't have to be in tech) who'd be willing to help out with some tips on resume writing, please, PM me. I have a resume I'd like someone to look over before I post it on Monster and start sending to companies.

On a related note, does submitting a resume on the Careers pages on company websites work? Or do they just go somewhere where nobody bothers to read 'em?

Not sure if this helps, but I was at a Career Fair yesterday at my institution of higher learning. 75% of the companies there directed people to their websites, as that was officially the only way they were hiring. Even when people took a liking to you they told you to go to the website and they would try to track/push it from there.

Yeah, that's pretty much how it was when I was looking for a job right out of school two years ago. Our Career Services website on campus ended up being the place I found my first job through, though.
