Weird Request: Help me find a tennis racket

I'm looking for the Pro Kennex Type C Heritage Redondo in a 93 sq. inch headsize (they also make a 98, which I don't want). Rumors surfaced a few days ago that Pro Kennex is going under, which I believe is true, so peeps have been buying out the already slim stock from online retailers. This is the tennis equivalent of Kneissl or Raichle going under.

If it's convenient for any of you to call or stop by an tennis shops in your area, I'd be forever grateful. If they have one in stock, I need a 4 1/2 grip size, I can order it over the phone from them or have you buy it and I'll pay you back plus a sixer. No shops in Portland have them, but I know tennis is more popular in other areas of the country.

First the P18, now this, sheesh. It looks like this:

String those up, throw some P18s on there, and you'd have some mighty fine snowshoes.

There's a tennis shop not too far from here; I'll stop by when (if) I get out of here.

Yeah those are nice - i used Head Prestige rackets (93sq/in) through my competitive college tennis years which are pretty similar.....

There are some Pro K's left at Holabird in a 4 3/8 but throw an extra grip on and you are good....

Those are all 98 sq. inches. I want 93. Thanks for looking though.

I called one place in Denver today for you. No dice. Should have a minute Friday afternoon to call some others. You try the wanted section on tennis talk?

Hey bossass, just curious if you have had any luck trackin any down? I've had the same problem a few times in my life so i feel your pain but keep in mind that the pro's switch when their sponsors changes technology and they keep pluggin a long.

I used to get hooked on a certain racket and hoard, thinking no racket could be better and then i would hit some with a teamates new stick and say hmmm i could get used to this.

Other similar rackets to yours you could try would be the Volkl Tour 10 Mid, Head Liquidmetal Prestige Mid, Dunlop 200G, or Wilson K factor Ksix one (90 or 95)

But whether you decide to hoard or to demo some new ones good luck - thanks for the chance to rant about tennis cause i miss playing it everyday for two seasons a year like i did in college - gotta fit tennis into the "real world" schedule some more
