    Stripped binding bolt

One of the bolts holding my S16s to my ARGs is loose and the hole is stripped. I don't want to go through the hassle of trying to warranty them given that the bindings, skis and tech were all seperate purchases at different places. Could I just fill the hole with some kind of bomber adhesive and screw the one loose screw in?

steel wool + epoxy if youre in a hurry I suppose...but also it depends how stripped is stripped.

otherwsie get yourself some sort of helicoil or threaded plug.
ideally this is the way to go if you have the time.

Based on the fact that I called a screw a bolt, i don't think I would know how to put in a helicoil or threaded plug or where to buy one. Would a ski tech know how to do this?

Most shops have this capability. Save some steps and call ahead.
Conumdrum posted a great tutorial on heli-coils:

as mentioned, just throw some steel wool and epoxy in there and forget about it.

just glob in some epoxy, stuff in some steel wool with a broken qtip or something, more epoxy, more wool, and put in the screw. It won't "tighten up" - the screw will still turn freely - but when it cures it shouldn't rip out.

besides, it's just 1 screw - there are 3 or 4 others to keep you on the ski
