Fuuuuuck! (Laptop related)

So my Power Book G4 won't turn on for some reason its been crashing recently and it takes a bit to turn it back on so like an hour ago I closed it and put it in my back pack and brought it from class to work. When I arrived at work my laptop was off (it was on when I left) and now it won't turn on at all? WWMD?

Start with the battery and power switch. It could be voltage regulator, internal power circuitry, bad motherboard, dead cmos battery. Try replacing the CMOS battery. Even if it doesn't fix the problem, it's only $2 to try it out, and it might fix it.

first things first: Tech Talk motha' fucka'

plug into the wall and try powering up. hopefully that works.

assuming it does, reset the P-RAM (search on the apple support site for how to do this with your specific powerbook). also launch disk first aid and repair the permissions. (this is just general system re-blessing stuff but good to do now and again)

try un plugging and seeing if the machine will stay powerd on the battery. if it shuts down immediatly you have a battery issue, or it's time for a new one. try using someone elses battery in your machine and see if that works. you might want to search around more on the apple support site for more info on this.

Called apple apparently mu Logic Board died so I pulled the Hard Drive and got a nifty hard drive reader to save my shit the rest is going into the trash

so much for buying a new lens
