    The RedBull Illume

I just got back home from the opening ceremony for the RedBull Illume. Man, talk about such a super cool event, all of the images that made it into the final round are super sick, and the exibit is by far one of the coolest ways that I have ever seen action sports displayed.

If your in CO, check out the exibit in Aspen. Afterwords its going to trvel to 8 different US cities before it heads to europe.

Vote for your favorite shot here:http://www.redbullillume.com/index.p...ndPublicVoting

BTW, the Hotel Jerome is by far one of the most pimped out places I have ever stayed, and Delta Airlines sucks hairy ass goat balls (I watched them put my skis in the plane in SLC, than take them back off, now they don't know wtf they did with them )

I think its time we use this contest to right a couple of wrongs...Don't vote for the picture of the avalanche!!! That is what is getting apathetic JONG children out into the backcountry, and getting them killed!!

dood ... your shot of skier launching into the abyss steals the show in my book. You have a natural eye for a photo and your effort to reach the big joy shot are well appreciated. Hat is off.

I can't tell if youre being sarcastic or not, but if you aren't...

I don't think you should not vote for the picture...

Maybe the problem is the douche bag dumbasses that are too infuenced by everything they see. This goes for lots of stuff, not just skiing. Instead of blaming violence on TV for retard kid's behavior, why not blame the kids? I think the bigger problem is kids copying everything they see on TV, not whats on TV.

Those are all sick. I love the one of the boaters scouting what looks like a huge drop, and the surf shot taken from under the wave.

Victoria Falls on the Zambezi. Way too tall to run, but right above one of the top big water play runs on the planet, and people keep trying to get as close as possible to the base of those falls to start. Good stable pools right at the lip so you always see shots of folks messing around like that on the edge. Best shot from there, in terms of actual sphincter-clench-inducment is Steve Fisher flatwheeling near the edge in current (can't find it right now, old Riot poster).
