sign in/out question

I am having problems logging in and staying logged in. When i go to the site now, i have to log in every time, in the past, once i logged in i was logged in until i signed out. I check the remember me box everytime i sign in but still get logged out after i surf the forums for about 15 minutes. Also, when i log in checking remember me, i usually have to log in at least 2 times in a row before it logs me in. i KNOW this is a LOT of logging on my part, but this is the PNW....HELP!!! I am tired of having to log in all the time.
