    Mammoth Lodging

a group of buddies are planning on going to mammoth 3/4-3/7 and was wondering if anyone knows some good CHEAP! places to stay.....

we just wanna board and want a roof over the head and all the lodging in town seems pretty pricey.....anyone know of some particular places that run good deals?.....maybe bishop and drive? Dont know the area well enough to know where is a good place to stay.....any help would be great.....

    thanks!!

First of all, let me be the first to say JONG, you JONGity JONG-JONG!

And now to business. Staying in Bishop will save you some money, the drive ain't bad at all (been to Mammoth before?), and the rooms will probably be better.

Unfortunately I'm no help either. I just stay where ever I can find any old room open. Mammoth sucks for lodging. Motel 6 is cheapest, but usually full. We stayed in Convict lake last weekend which was fine, if a bit pricey for the location and what it was.

Good luck and let us know what you find

    Rodeway INN.

Check the Mammoth forums under (believe it or not) LODGING..there a few threads re: cheap roofs.

if you have a group of people, Mammoth Estates has some decent deals. If you reserve for consecutive days off their website, you get a discount. all the lodging at mammoth lakes can be found here http://www.mammothweb.com/lodging/
