I actually read the thing now, that seems pretty cool. Though Im not sure how you are supposed to ski through a mine, does it snow underground in Canadia?

Nice! Sounds like a cool comp. So, who's your biggest competition?

It's a typo... they meant to say "Amazing skiers in abandoned mimes."

    Should be quite a scene.

    Thumbs up

Yeah, looking forward to this one - it's a hike up and ski down race.

Again, all of you know how sick of a venue Roberts is. The race doesn't actually go through any underground mine tunnels, it just starts at the site of the old mine near Red Mountain, then I believe there's a skin up Granite, then up Roberts, then a ski back down.

That is going to be so sick, take it to the next level man.
You're gonna stand there, owning a fireworks stand, and tell me you don't have no whistling bungholes, no spleen spliters, whisker biscuits, honkey lighters, hoosker doos, hoosker donts, cherry bombs, nipsy daisers, with or without the scooter stick, or one single whistling kitty chaser?

Yeah, that bit about "dropping in" and "skiing through the gold mine" definitely sounds unique. Hard to televise, though.

au contraire....I'm sure they'll have cameras on wires down the whole mine shaft, as well as significant lighting....I bet the footy will make everyone very aroused.

I'm pretty sure that the course will go through the open pit molybdenum (look it up - it's used for lubes) mines on the W side of Red, not into the underground gold mines.
