    Czech out the Big Whiteout

2-czech hooked up with a college bus tour out to Big White this past weekend. I offered to show him around to sniff out the 35cms of fresh that fell during the week. A rare case of greybird skies with a side of very low clouds kept us in the trees and also kept us out of the backside where'd we'd hoped to tour some. I guess we slay that dragon another day but I think Yara enjoyed the light snow and the lighter crowds. Got a few shots of him digging it for ya.

Schweeet....I feel sorry I missed that bus!

I love the monochrome background with the punch of 2-czech. Well done Pulver.

not often enough this year but it's all good. I hopped on the WB powder train for most of the early season so that was only my 4th weekend out there. That's crazy low but whatever, the winter's been great.

Ha, I saw you quite a few times!

Spotted your bros (those are bros right?) on saturday at the Gem Lake warming hut, then I saw you at the bottom of the powder chair sunday with a bunch of what looked like shredders.
Humm, powder chair was awesome, as well everything around gem lake.

It was a sweet weekend indeed, less busy than I thought it would be too.

SFU and UBC both ran trips up there last weekend. I think filthy was with UBC. Yara was with SFU but ditched all his partying pals to get at it early. I think he beat his hungover roomates on to the slopes by about 2.5 hours.

yeah that would be us. I had my new blowers on Saturday and rocked the bros along with Yara on Sunday. Good weekend for sure. Kind of nice to find two day old stashes all over the place eh?

Yup I saw your blowers as well at the hut.
It was definitely better than I expected, even skied some untracked close to the Gem lake lift line on sunday, it's funny to see the masses crowding up on all the other chairs by the village while you can shred pow

yeap, i guess that was me when i split with Rich and met up with some people from SFU...the mountain was basically abandoned, i could not believe it was a weekend with both SFU and UBC studentes shredding (approx 300 people), well the only lines were at the pub in the evening

Just love to see you rockin my old boards, Rich.
    Fastest warranty replacement on record.

[I brought Pulver a new pair of sticks to w/b last winter and the tail piece fell out after just a run or two. As soon as he told me, I handed him my pair.]
I think he's babying these too much.
