Travel w/ both board and skis

    Tried a search but.....

My GF finally bought some skis, rather than demo'ing everywhere so now I need to pack them with my boards. It seems that they will ride best with the bases down and rubber brake retainer holding the brakes up. My question is will having that band on the bindings for say 6-8 hours in route screw up anything. I know nothing about ski bindings and you know it will be my fault if they get f'ed up.

Total jong Q i know, but thought Id ask - thanks.

no problem. On most bindings you can remove the brakes with a screwdriver as well if your still worried. What kind of bindings are they?
