BD crossbow mountpoint

mounting NAXOs to a pair of BD crossbows with one previous drilling.

i've heard (http://www.telemarktalk.com/phpBB/vi...ight=crossbows)
that the BD marked mount point is too far back. ideally, i'd like to go 1 cm forward, but that would put the heel piece holes too close to the old ones.

so, my options are to go with the BD marked point, or to mount 2cm forward of that point.

one other consideration: i'm marking these up for my lange alpine boots, but may switch to AT boots in the future. if AT boots have a typical difference in center point (i.e. usually further back on the boot sole, or usually further forward) relative to alpines, that could be important.

I have a pair that I mounted with freerides, I originally mounted for other boots that had a larger bootsole length and switched to my adrenilines, they mount felt to far forward, (which it should of) I would mount on the line or forward.

so the original mount was for the BD center line?

what was the difference in sole length, about?

not sure, it was a koflack for mountaineering, about a 295-300, and my 25 Adreniline is a 287mm
