Cheap digs in Aspen

Call the Classic Pass office and ask about specials. Also the Lamplighter isn't too bad if I remember right. St Moritz (correct me if I'm wrong on this one, kids) is also quite reasonable.

45 mins. to an hour away, but the Days Inn and Comfort Inn in Carbondale are decent places.

Sorry I should have specified I need a place in Aspen. there will be some heavy drinking going down and a 1/2 hour drive sounds a little sketchy. Thanks though Jibij !

Check all of those places. Each place does have a breakfast. The Moritz is the cheapest. You can find their ph# at www.aspensnowmass.com I recommend calling them directly, they will give you a cheaper rate if you deal directly without central reservations.

I think I'll be up in Aspen this weekend as well. Currently my assistant is working on lodging, so we will see what he comes back with. The St Moritz is looking like the favorite.

We ended up booking a room at the Innsbruck Inn. Last time I was there I got hammered at their complimentary apres ski. A little too much vino that night. Got to keep the wine consumption a little more under control this time-or go crazy with the redbull.
