    question about avy possibility

    this:

Is a pic from last year, I wanted to launch it soo bad but it just didn't look right. I was thinking about digging a pit but even that seemed sketch.

Any good ideas about finding out if it was gonna break or not?

It it is clear bellow (think: this may produce a pretty large slide - what would the consequences be?) it is always fun to cut a bit of the cornice off and let it drop. Its like a po'man's bomb. The easiest way to do this is with a saw attached to a pole but you can also use a ruche block cord or a shovel to under mine the latteral support form an overhanging piece or cornice untill it breaks away.

It was actually a reference to the "N" word that Diz_Brokeback_MT likes to tho' down for street cred' and pimpin' stylee

the original revolting reference was in a thread about the reason he hated living in cincinnati was "too many "N"s"

But they’ll put us in jail if we kill all the telemarkers
    Telemarketers! Kill the telemarketers!
Oh we can do that. We don’t even need a reason

You should have done the world a favor and sent it.
There's nothing better than sliding down snow, flying through the air

    Ditto.

There is absolutely no way to tell from looking at it. You need to know what the weather has been doing throughout the season to understand what you are dealing with. Then you need to stick your hands in it, test it, dig pits, and chop cornices (or is it corni?).
Like our viking friend said above, it is always fun to take the time to 'mess' with the snow to see what it does. Besides, it helps you stay alive AND get better skiing.
