    Next years Dynafit boots

For fellow AT/Dynafit geeks, check out Lou's site for next years Dynafit boots. The Zzero C-MF sounds pretty nice. Barely heavier than a Megaride, potentially skis more like a Endorphin, lower volume than previous Dynafits, probably ridiculously expensive due to racy looking carbon. Me likey.

Result, a claimed weight of 1595 grams (27.5 shell)"

Megarides are 3.3kg a pair - or 1650g. what place is there then for a Megaride?

That quoted Dynafit Zz weight is per single boot, not for a pair.

Obviously. The weight of the Zz pair is still less then then the weight of the Megaride pair

For sure, you have to be lost to find a place that can't be found, elseways everyone would know where it was

A little bit of info on the ZZeros from someone on the Couloir site:

"The top model, the Zzero4 with Carbon stringers and thermofit liners will go for about $729. With the multi-fit liners it will be slightly less, but I'd be surprised to see them without the thermos. There will also be some PU boots around $550 that will make it into some rental programs and be quite good touring boots as well with the same 4-buckle design.

The liners are now fully-lasted with a sewn toe box to provide toe height and limit shrinkage. They also have ankle and side reinforcement of denser, non-thermo material to better withstand the force generated in stiffer shells. There is also a non-carbon green boot in a lighter green color at a higher weight and softer flex. The boots were designed by two of the engineers responsible for the MegaRide, Adrenaline and Endorphin, and fit very similarly. I feel the fit is a major step forward for Dynafit."

Shit, now I have to save up $11 000 for next winter. $10 000 for the new sled and damned near $1000 for my new boots.
    You are what you eat.
