Maybe, or it might be the final nail in the coffin of lactic-acid-leg-burn...

The other problem is deciding what skis to bring to the camp. I wasn't planning on bringing anything with AT bindings.

Choices, choices... I can only bring 2 pair.

Spatulas? great if it's deep, not so great if Gordy wants us to learn how to ski moguls
    ANTs? probably best all-around pick
Explosivs? or maybe these for best all-around, though they don't float as much as I prefer
Pow Plus? very fun, more versatile than Spatulas. Contender.
Head m85? great ski, better than ANTs for everything but deep. Too skinny for current conditions?
Scott P3? screwing around ski. Not likely to bring these.
AK Swallowtail? (w/ Fritschi) a blast in pow; not sure I want to spend camp time on Fritschis
Atomic REX? (w/ Naxo) - haven't skied them yet. Not likely to bring these.

    I'm thinking:
    1) either Spatulas or Pow Plus -- covers the deep stuff
    2) either ANTs or Explosivs -- covers everything else

I was thinking of the same thing today:

Praxis - Too much fun to leave at home
Ants - A good all around choice
Bros - Great ski, they're kind hacked up after a season of low snow, but I can ski a rocky line without wincing.
Atomic REX in 177- Shortest ski I have, great for tight lines.
Big Daddies - Only have one day on them, not a likely choice (although I did like them alot)

I'm kinda thinking bros or ants and praxis, if we ski icy bumps though I'm toast. Maybe I'll throw the REX's in to cover all the bases.

hey sfotex...I'll give a call about carpooling soon but I think I'll be a welcome addition as I often talk to people about gas as it relates to fibre intake (gotta do with the profession)....what I often tell my peeps 'its better to have a gas attack then a heart attack'.

I'm bringing my explosivs and pair of skinny skis but will also be demoing a pair of Roosis I think. Unfortunately I was not skiing for a few weeks and never decided on a pair of touring skis.

Alright gang, I got new bottle of patchouli and a new hat hand knitted from organic yak wool by Tibetans. I can't wait to heal the earth with my turns this weekend.

I'm in Salt Lake, at the Marriott Courtyard in Sandy, surrounded by many other fine chain hotels, a mall, a brew pub, etc. Surburbia.

Anyone else here yet who wants to meet up for dinner tonight (Thursday)? Send me a PM.
