    There are no locals in Val Thorens. It's just full of Dutch.

    Here at Magic we have a solid inch of freezing rain and ice. I am going to go out back and shoot myself. I drive from just north of Ludlow and they had the same thing. Hopefully Killington and points north are getting something.

    Oh yeah, roads are sketchy. Snow tires and 4wheel/all wheel drive are your friends today.

    That is the spirit! It is actually changing to more snow-like precip now. Still not the 3-7" I wanted.

    I'm up at Stowe now and its looking pretty nice actually. Yesterday we got about 3-5 inches throughout the morning. Today its been snowing since I woke up. Out of my window it looks like a few inches of fresh and its still snowing pretty hard. A lot of stuff is still unskiable though. This new snow is pretty much all there is. Too bad im leaving in an hour. The drives going to be tough.

    I think you mean graupel. Freezing rain will stick to everything and give it a lovely ice coating, I don't see that happening yet.

    graupel = so hot!

    I think I'm gonna cry. I spent a lot of the last two weeks at the Loaf skiing on shit and now they get dumped when I'm back in VT getting some snow with a lot of ice mixed in.

    This Vt. local needs to pull a Roo, and whoever else has had to pry themselves away at some time. I state it here because I need it to be so.
    If I don't report in with any inside info it's not because of an attitude.
    Oh nad iceman, ya don't have to go repeating the hand in the water analogy, okay dude.

    Not necessarily a local, but I don't have classes Wednesdays, so I headed to Stowe this morning, ~-3 at the summit, Nosedive and other trails by the quad sucked majorly, super wierd wind crust, Quad was closed. They wouldnt let me on the triple or double with out another person for some reason.
    It was ok.
